Our production process has a minimal environmental impact compared to materials made from synthetic fibers. The felt material itself is 100% biodegradable, composed of 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled low melt fiber (acting as a binding agent). This makes our product not only recyclable—it can be repurposed for home furnishing goods or turned back into new felt—but also renewable as cotton plants can continue producing indefinitely. We are committed to sustainability, as evidenced by our installation of solar panels to generate clean energy for our production. These panels generate more green energy than needed for the felt manufacturing process, significantly reducing CO2 emissions. In contrast to traditional meltblown pads, which are not biodegradable and are derived from petroleum-based PP granules, our cotton fiber felt offers a superior, environmentally responsible alternative, free from the high energy use and environmental impact associated with man-made synthetic fibers.
