Oil Boom Netting
Holds the boom together. Lets the oil straight through. Knitted polyester tubular netting, the outer skin of an absorbent oil boom.

Two jobs. One sleeve.
An absorbent boom only survives moving water if something holds it together, and only performs if that something stays out of the oil's way. Our knitted polyester skin takes the tow, lift and abrasion load while the open mesh lets oil reach the absorbent core at full rate.
Polyester filament keeps its strength when saturated and will not rot in prolonged immersion. The knit opens over the fill and pulls back onto it, so one netting covers a range of fill densities without gathering or splitting.

Carries tow, lift and handling load along the whole boom.
Unobstructed flow
Open area lets fluid reach the absorbent core at full rate.
Abrasion resistance
Takes contact with rock, quay wall, hull and deck.
Same shape, wet or dry
No rot, no swelling, no strength lost in long immersion.

Which shipping and payment terms do you offer?
We ship by sea container from Mundra or Nhava Sheva on FOB, CIF or DAP terms. Payment is 50% advance with the order and the balance against a copy of the bill of lading (B/L).
Do you provide REACH documentation?
Yes. REACH and SVHC declarations are available for customers in the European Union.
