Five-beam spunmelt with two meltblown barriers: our highest-protection fabric for surgical and sterile applications.
Two barriers. More protection.
SSMMS adds a second spunbond and a second meltblown layer. That gives extra softness, better fluid resistance and higher barrier protection than SMS, at a uniform weight.
Produced on fully automated Reicofil lines with robotic packing, it is trusted for surgical gowns, sterile wraps and medical kits.

Inside the fabric
Built layer by layer, down to the micron.
An SSMMS fabric wraps fine meltblown microfibres between strong spunbond filaments. We run each layer on our own lines, then thermally bond them into one sheet.
- Spunbond · SContinuous filaments, typically 15–35 µm. Strength and abrasion resistance.
- Meltblown · MMicrofibres under 10 µm. The barrier, filtration and absorbency layer.

Yes. REACH and SVHC declarations are available for customers in the European Union.
