Nylon 6 Spunbond Non-Woven Fabric
Nylon 6 spunbond from our own lines: tough, abrasion-resistant and strong at low weights, point or flat bonded, in any colour.
Tough where other spunbonds give up.
Nylon 6 (polyamide 6) spunbond is made from continuous nylon filaments, laid into a web and bonded by heated calender rolls. Nylon is a tough, resilient polymer: the fabric resists abrasion and tearing, stays strong at low weights and bonds well to adhesives, coatings and other layers.
We make it on our own lines in India, point bonded or flat bonded and in any colour, and supply it as jumbo rolls or slit to your width.

Toughness & abrasion resistance
Stands up to rubbing, flexing and handling in use.
Strength at low weight
High tensile and tear strength for thin, light constructions.
Bonds to adhesives and coatings
Good adhesion for tapes, laminates and composites.
Heat resistant
A higher melting point than polypropylene, for hot processes.
Resists oils and solvents
Stable in contact with oils, fuels, greases and many organic solvents.
Ultrasonic sealing
Welds and cuts cleanly, with non-fraying edges.
Point bonded
- Filaments fused at small, regular dots
- Softer and more flexible
- More open and porous
- For filter layers, linings and tapes
Flat bonded
- Pressed between smooth heated rolls
- Thin, dense and smooth
- Even surface for coating and printing
- For laminates, coated fabrics and tapes
Good to know
- Nylon absorbs a little moisture from the air: condition samples before you test them
- Keep rolls in their wrapping until use
- Strong acids weaken nylon: check chemical contact in your end use
- Tell us the end use, weight, bonding, colour, width and port

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
Nylon 6 or PET spunbond: which should I choose?
Choose nylon 6 when the fabric must be tough: abrasion and tear resistance, flexibility, good adhesion to coatings and adhesives, and strength at low weights, for example in cable wrapping tapes and filter support layers. Choose PET when stiffness, dimensional stability and resistance to high process temperatures matter most, as in bitumen roofing membranes. PET also takes up almost no moisture, while nylon absorbs a little from the air. We make both, so we can send samples of each.
Do you make nylon 6 spunbond yourselves?
Yes. We make it on our own lines in India and supply converters and distributors worldwide.
Point bonded or flat bonded: which do I need?
Point-bonded nylon is softer, more flexible and more porous, which suits filter layers, linings and many tapes. Flat-bonded nylon is thinner, smoother and denser, with an even surface for coating, printing and lamination. Tell us the end use and we will suggest a starting point.
Which colours can you supply?
White or any colour to your requirement.
What is the minimum order for nylon 6 spunbond?
One 20-foot container.
Do you supply nylon spunbond under private label (OEM)?
Yes. Rolls are labelled and packed to your specification.
Can I get samples?
Yes. Samples are free and we pay the courier. Tell us the end use, weight, bonding type and colour you need.
Which shipping terms do you offer?
FOB India (Mundra or Nhava Sheva) as standard, with CIF and DAP on request.
What do customers use nylon 6 spunbond nonwoven fabric for?
Typical applications: Cable wrapping and binder tapes for power and telecom cables; Support and scrim layers for pleated filters; Liquid, fuel, oil and hydraulic filtration; Laminates and composites; Carriers for adhesive and hot-melt lamination; Coating substrates; Apparel interlinings and footwear components; Automotive components; Abrasion-resistant wipes and polishing cloths.
Which specifications of nylon 6 spunbond nonwoven fabric can you supply?
Polymer: Nylon 6 (polyamide 6, PA6); Basis weight: 5–150 gsm; Bonding: Point bonded or flat calender bonded; Colours: White or any colour to order; Edges: Clean, non-fraying; Properties: Tough, abrasion resistant, ultrasonically sealable; Production: Our own lines in India; Supply: Jumbo rolls or slit to width; Minimum order: One 20-foot container. Other weights, sizes and finishes are made to your specification.
Do you provide REACH documentation?
Yes. REACH and SVHC declarations are available for customers in the European Union.
