Technology & Infrastructure
Seven web-forming processes, automated conversion and an in-house lab at our plant in Surat, Gujarat.
A plant built for consistency.
Our Surat facility spans over 50,000 square metres, about 300 km from Nhava Sheva and 500 km from Mundra. Production areas are dust-free and over-pressurised, with minimal human contact with rolled goods.
Lines are fully automated with in-line camera inspection. Converting is automated; packing is done by hand so every pack matches the buyer's specification.
Inside the fabric
Built layer by layer, down to the micron.
An SSMMS fabric wraps fine meltblown microfibres between strong spunbond filaments. We run each layer on our own lines, then thermally bond them into one sheet.
- Spunbond · SContinuous filaments, typically 15–35 µm. Strength and abrasion resistance.
- Meltblown · MMicrofibres under 10 µm. The barrier, filtration and absorbency layer.
- Thermal bondA heated calender fuses the layers without adhesives.
