SAP products for water leaks and flooding
Water leaks are among the spills buildings deal with most often: a dripping chiller, a defrosting freezer, a burst pipe, rain coming under a door. We make five superabsorbent polymer (SAP) products that store flat and turn water into gel on contact, for distributors, facility suppliers and brand owners to sell under their own label.

Products
What we supply for this
| Product | What it does here |
|---|---|
| Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) Flat Socks | Five SAP products: flat socks, sandless flood barriers, leak pads, maxi leak pads and service pads, ultrasonically welded on all sides. |
How SAP works
Superabsorbent polymer sits as dry granules inside a fabric sleeve, so the product ships and stores thin and flat. When water reaches it, each granule pulls water in and swells to many times its dry size. The water is then held as a firm gel that does not drain back out, even when the product is lifted. That is what towels, cellulose and cotton cannot do: a thin SAP pad outperforms a bulky one, and nothing drips when it is picked up.
Every seam is ultrasonically welded on all sides, so no water escapes through needle holes and the seams hold at full load.
Five products for five jobs
Choose the product by how much water is expected and where:
- Flat socks: water-absorbent strips that ship flat, lie flat and swell as they soak, holding up to 2 litres each. Under sinks, chillers, freezers, thresholds and condensate trays. PP spunbond both sides with an SAP core, hi-viz yellow.
- Flood barriers: sandless defence. Laid flat, they swell with water, divert run-off and stack to height. No sand and no shovels. PP spunbond top with a PP spunbond or PET spunlace bottom, black.
- Leak pads: for everyday drips. Placed under a drip, a pad takes on many times its own weight and stays put as it swells. Hi-viz yellow.
- Maxi leak pads: built for litres, not drips: burst pipes, defrost overflow and roof leaks. Hi-viz yellow.
- Service pads: a soft, white, poly-backed pad that catches what drains out while a fitting is open, for plumbing and HVAC work in tight spaces. SSMMS and air-through fabric with an SAP core and LDPE film.
Where they are used
The range is sold into food retail and the cold chain, facilities and public buildings, plumbing and HVAC service, cleaning operations, flood and emergency response, and homes and appliances. Because the products store flat, they can be kept in a cupboard or a response kit until the day they are needed.
Water only
One limit matters for every buyer and end user: SAP is built for fresh, rain and ground water. It does not absorb oils, solvents or salt water. Label your packaging clearly as water only. For hydrocarbons, pair it with oil-only absorbents; for mixed liquids, use universal absorbents.
SAP reacts to moisture, so keep stock dry and sealed until use.
Testing samples
Try samples with your customers before you order. Pour a measured amount of water and note how quickly the product takes it up and turns it to gel; lift it when full and check that nothing drips; load it to capacity and check the welded seams. For flood barriers, test how they swell, stack and hold back running water on a hard surface.
How we supply
We supply distributors and brands under their own name. The minimum order is one 40'HQ container, and 5–6 different products can be combined in it, so SAP products can travel with your absorbent range. Standard colours are as listed above; minimum quantities apply to non-standard colours. Plain polybags are standard; printed polybags, cartons and labels are available at extra cost.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
How much water does a flat sock hold?
Up to 2 litres.
Do the flood barriers need sand?
No. Laid flat, they swell with water, divert run-off and stack to height.
Can SAP products be used for oil or seawater?
No. They are for fresh, rain and ground water only, not for oil, solvents or salt water. Use oil-only or universal absorbents for those.
Does the water drain back out when the pad is lifted?
No. The water is held as a firm gel that does not drain back out.
Are the seams stitched?
No. Every seam is ultrasonically welded on all sides, so no water escapes through needle holes.
Can I get samples?
Yes. Samples are free and we pay the courier.
