Adhesive absorbent floor matting for walkways, entrances and loading docks
Wherever oil and water are tracked across a hard floor, a loose mat slides, curls and becomes a trip hazard of its own. Adhesive-backed absorbent matting grips the floor, stays flat under feet, trolleys and forklifts, soaks up oil and water-based liquids, and peels up in one piece at the end of its life. We make it for distributors and brands worldwide, under their own label.

Products
What we supply for this
| Product | What it does here |
|---|---|
| Adhesive-Backed Absorbent Floor Mat | Heavyweight needle-punched absorbent matting in 100% PET or 100% PP, with four backings: adhesive poly film, adhesive PP spunbond, poly film without adhesive, or no backing. Rolls or pre-cut mats. |
| Universal Absorbent Products | Loose grey universal pads, rolls and socks for the larger spills that the matting is not meant to take on its own. |
| High-Visibility Universal Absorbent Roll | A caution-printed universal roll for wet areas where people must see that the floor needs care. |
Where adhesive matting earns its place
Adhesive matting is for fixed routes where liquids are tracked or dripped every day, and where a loose mat would move:
- Entrances and lobbies, especially for wet-weather and winter track-in.
- Supermarket produce and freezer lines, where drips and condensation collect on the floor.
- Production walkways and work cells, where oil and coolant are carried on shoes and trolley wheels.
- Loading docks and forklift routes, where the matting has to stay flat under heavy traffic.
- Floor protection during renovation work and events.
Choose the backing for the job
The backing decides how the matting behaves on the floor. We make four variants:
- Adhesive poly film: a secure floor bond plus a liquid-proof barrier, so spills stay in the mat and off the floor underneath.
- Adhesive PP spunbond: a secure bond on a tough, flexible base, for routes where the matting must follow the floor closely.
- Poly film without adhesive: lies flat as a liquid barrier and can be repositioned freely.
- No backing: plain needle-punched absorbent for lining and wiping.
PET or PP?
The absorbent layer is 100% PET (polyester) or 100% PP (polypropylene). The right choice depends on the traffic, the liquids it will meet and any heat or UV exposure on site. Tell us the application and we will recommend the substrate. The standard colour is dark grey, which hides dirt in busy areas; custom colours are possible against a minimum order quantity.
Rolls for runners, pre-cut mats for fixed spots
Rolls suit long runners along aisles, walkways and dock routes, cut to length on site. Pre-cut mats suit doorways, machine bases and work stations, where a ready-to-use size saves time. Both formats are made with every backing, and many distributors stock both.
Fitting tips to pass on to your customers
The bond is only as good as the floor underneath it:
- Apply to clean, dry and sound hard floors; dust and moisture weaken the bond.
- Test a small area first over painted or freshly coated surfaces.
- Roll the matting out flat and press it down along its full length.
- Replace it when it is saturated or worn: it peels up in one piece, with no scraping or grinding.
Matting and loose absorbents work together
Adhesive matting handles the everyday drips and track-in along fixed routes. For larger spills, sites still keep loose universal pads, rolls and socks, and oil-only absorbents where water must be repelled. Because 5–6 different products can be combined in one 40'HQ container, the matting can travel together with the rest of your absorbent range.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
Does adhesive-backed matting stay in place under forklift traffic?
Yes. The adhesive backing bonds the matting to the floor so it stays in place even under heavy foot traffic or forklift traffic.
Does it absorb both oil and water?
Yes. The needle-punched layer soaks up both oil and water-based liquids.
How is it removed?
At the end of its service life it lifts away in one piece: no scraping, no grinding and no long floor closures.
Which backing should I choose?
For most walkway and entrance programmes, one of the two adhesive versions. Choose adhesive poly film if the floor underneath must stay completely dry, because the film stops liquid passing through.
Can I combine it with other absorbents in one container?
Yes. 5–6 different products can be combined in one 40'HQ container.
Do you export to my country?
We supply distributors worldwide under their own brand. We ship FOB India from Mundra or Nhava Sheva as standard, with CIF and DAP on request, and provide REACH and SVHC declarations for customers in the European Union.
Can I get samples?
Yes. Samples are free and we pay the courier.
